an ineffective boar

since boris was unable to impregnate either of the sows at the farm, they had to go ahead and buy piglets from someone else. this situation is unfortunate for a number of reasons:
1. we wasted a lot of time taking care of the pigs over the winter
2. we wasted a lot of food taking care of the pigs over the winter
3. the pigs that we kept over the winter completey destroyed the land on which they were kept.

but the good news is that the new imported piglets are so much cuter than anything we could have expected here on the farm because they are multi-colored like piggy easter eggs. here are a few of them (note: i find their rear ends to be even cuter than their fronts):
