another year, another sugar-loaded cake! we went to vermont this past weekend to join evie in celebration of her fourth birthday. it was great to have the party at aaron and julie's new house and it was great that we didn't have to ride home from the party with kids in a car, because julie and aaron handed out noisemakers as party favors, thus becoming the least-liked parents at the daycare center until the next kid has a party and gives out face paints as a parting gift.
