bowling birthday party

stewie turned 28 last week and invited us down to providence for a bowling birthday party. i remember when i turned 8 and had a bowling birthday party, co-hosted by jennifer kunkel. that was awesome.

stew, matt, michele and i each started off the game by really sucking. i blamed the inch-long cut i had on the middle finger of my right hand (which i had given myself earlier that day with a pair of children's scissors), coupled with the fact that the lane was clearly crooked, my shoes were too tight, and the ball was broken. but then we managed to turn it around and all of us had scores of over 100 in the second game. i don't think i could bowl like that when i was in third grade, even with the bumpers. also, i didn't get to drink beer then either.
