we talked with the surgeon today who told us that biopsies of the tissue surrounding the tumor all came back negative for cancerous cells, which is great. the tumors themselves were "highly aggressive" duodenal carcinomas and matt is well rid of them. as far as i am concerned, this good news means that "i can't do the dishes because i have cancer" will no longer hold any water.
