little dog in the big snow

i thought nina totenberg would be intimidated by the deep snow we have here in vermont. instead, she dove right in with enthusiasm and exuberance. after just a ten minute walk like this, she would sleep for three hours straight. and then we'd return outside for another frolic in snow deeper than she is.
