a few weeks ago, i went up to new hampshire with matt and helped him build this hearth for his mother's new woodstove. and by "helped" i mostly mean "sat on the couch and watched."

not yet- we added some dark grey grout. and the wood trim needs another couple coats of stain and then one of poly.
