one of our favorite places close to home to take the dogs is foxboro state forest. there are nice trails where we secretly might (or might not!) take the dogs off leash and a pretty little lake that no one else seems to know about because we are always the only ones there and if people knew about it, they would be there too. nina could spend hours there stalking frogs and jake could spend hours standing around and worrying.
