we drag the chicken coop to fresh grass every day. it is pretty hard to do, especially in places where we have really let the field grow. usually matt pushes while i pull. now that he will be at radiation during prime coop-moving time, we needed a system that would allow me to move the coop by myself. matt is still on orders not to lift anything heavier than a phonebook, lest he herniate himself, so he is absolved from any solo coop-dragging responsibilities. i thought maybe we could put wheels on the thing, but matt came up with even better idea of skis. he found a nice pair at the dump and i attached them to the coop this morning. it slides like butter.
