robin's eggs

julie and evie found these in their yard. the nest is in a perfect location for kids to peek at, but is also immediately adjacent to the tent site where matt and i slept last night. the robin squawked at us for a while before returning to her nest- it's likely she just forgot we were there. there's a reason the term "bird brain" isn't a compliment.
