julie, tom, and i were delighted to see our ex-next-door neighbor gabe at dad's birthday party. it had been 15 years since i had last seen him. he now has a wonderful wife and three great kids- two of whom spent hours exhausting nina by kicking a soccer ball for her. the youngest mini-gabe is not much bigger than a soccer ball himself.
