somehow or other, matt and i managed to successfully get an orchid to bloom. our friend adam, who does professional plant installations at places like banks and apartment complex lobbies, gave us the orchid a while ago, and through a combination of occasional watering, frequent neglect, and a good south-facing window, there are now a whole series of blossoms just waiting to open. jake took some time to stop and enjoy this one this morning.
