10 little piggies

despite a strong last-minute counter offer from the farm in cranston, matt and i decided to accept the caretaker position at natick community organic farm. we'll be responsible for the weekend care of these ten piglets, as well as some sheep, chickens, turkeys, grown-up pigs, cows, and goats. matt is most excited about the goats, first because they seem all friendly like horned dogs, but also because we get to milk them. twice a day, every saturday and sunday for about half the year, we will have to milk the goats.

A bidding war! Sweet! Hopefully you drove the price for your services way up into the six figure range. Does this mean you're moving? Where's the new farm at?

the new farm is pretty close to our current house- about 3 miles away as the crow flies. i'm going to turn your daughter into a little farm girl. she's going to fall for one of these little piggies like fern in charlotte's web
