matt had his three-month check-up with dr. callery, the surgeon who performed his whipple procedure.
matt: "so i've been reading online about a lot of people who have had trouble with the whipple. i mean, some people still have pain after five years."
dr. callery: "i don't want to toot my own horn but, well, let me put it like this- there's a lot of guys out there who think they are pretty good at golf. but there are only a few guys on the tour."
me: "are you on the tour, dr. callery?"
dr. callery: "yeah, i'm on the tour."
thank goodness matt had the tiger woods of whipples operating on him.
