matt and ruthann took a first stab at constructing their family tree today. they practiced the format on scrap paper before sketching out a couple of generations on the big sheet. ruthann's mother was one of fourteen kids and her father was one of ten. as novices to this whole geneology thing, this is going to be a real learning experience.
