mancini made me a solemn promise on the way to the festival that he wouldn't let me purchase any overly-priced yet poorly-handmade hippy clothing at falcon ridge. despite his vigilant presence, i couldn't resist the opportunity to browse. i did not buy anything- or at least, i didn't buy any clothes. i did spend $15 on 3 helpings of strawberry shortcake, but that was worth every penny.
